What can I say about the Black Dahla Murder except that they’re exceptionaly awesome! They originate from Wateford Michigan are signed to the pioneering American label Metal Blade. The band claims mostly Swedish influences but recognizes the Floridian influence and describes it’s sound as ‘Melodic Death Metal’, I describe it as he sound of 1000 angels signing in harmony (too much?, maybe)
anyhoo, peep the video for ‘Everything went Black’ i think it’s based on Creepshow or some other comic book…pretty neat.

This is the sick Flex Deck she keeps in her office, one time we borrowed it for a photoshoot and accidentally left it by a tree stump in Stanley Park. Luckily we figured it out in time to go back and it was still there…We never told her that part of the story. (I hope shes not one of the 6 people that reads this blog)

Hi my people,
Rika here. Now we all know nothing says “Party!” like the return of MURDIGRAS!!! what began 4 years ago as me and Murray drinking alone on his birthday ; ) has evolved through alot of hard work from some pretty dedicated people into a huge Charity event. We have raised in excess of $140 000 in the 3 years and the party has gotten bigger than we ever imagined.
This year we have a fantastic all-girl revue including three talented woman, Te’a and Jenny Galt and Stephanie Lang. The theme is old hollywood glam! So dress up!!!
