 STAFF’S FAVOURITE CUSTOMER SERVICE STORY: We have a customer named Max, he’s a regular. He’s been a smoker for 20 something years and wanted to quit. We said if he made it a month without smoking we would give him the bike fenders that he wanted free! It’s been 3 months and he is smoke free and has a new set of fenders! (Max is in the shop shot at the top of this post!)

Some of them are full of black water. Others have become graveyards for old lawn furniture and rodent carcasses. They are shaped like jelly beans and manufactured by companies named Sunny Side and Champagne. Once upon a time, Fresno was the California Dream. Own a car. Own a house. Own a pool. Everyone wanted it and the wonderful world of credit made it all possible. But now, with the foreclosure monster running wild, the dream is dry. Thousands of pools are festering in the hot Central Valley sun. For most people this is tragic. But for some, it’s an opportunity.

This week we check in with Arson Rider Ty Weed who has been spending his summer up at COC (Camp of  Champs) on the Blackcomb glacier in beautiful Whistler BC.  Ty Took these photos on the way up to the Glacier, He is working up at COC this summer as a digger building the park with Arena Snowparks. ”I woke up to a few fresh cm’s of snow the other day, its still snowing and it’s July, so crazy!”  We will check in with Ty again in a few weeks with hopes of some more incredible pictures from the top of Blackcomb mountain.
